The Conservation ID lookup is based upon the Conservation Licenses purchased in our legacy system.
If you have not purchased a license before 6am on July 13th, 2026, or found your Conservation ID, Click on https://www.myoutdooralabama.com/ to log in to your account, for Game Check or Snapper Check, or purchase a license. A lookup function for your Customer Number is also available.

Customer Identification

The conservation ID is a 6 character* field for the identification of a DCNR customer only. It does not eliminate the need for licenses, permits, or other required documentation. Initially, the conservation ID shall be used by a hunter for the Game Check program.
* Vowels and the letter “L” are NOT used in conservation ID in the Legacy System for readability of this code and font confusion reducation. All digits are used.

An existing Conservation ID may also be looked up by matching exactly your first and last name, Date of Birth, and the Last Four digists of your Social Security Number.
